Services & Pricing

All prices are labor only unless noted. Parts and equipment are billed separately at cost. ⏱ indicates multi-day projects.

Pricing Note — Please Read Before Requesting a Quote

All listed prices are for labor only. The primary equipment — inverter, light bar, switch panel, radio, etc. — and the installation materials required to complete the job safely and professionally are priced separately. I can source equipment for you with a full warranty, or you're welcome to supply your own. (See warranty info below.)

Because nearly every job I do is a custom build, no two vehicles are exactly alike. The prices listed are baseline estimates based on typical installations. Your final quote may vary depending on vehicle configuration, existing wiring condition, access difficulty, and the specific components and add-ons selected. Every job receives a firm written quote with equipment, installation materials, and labor clearly itemized before any work begins.

A materials deposit is required after quote approval and before any equipment, add-ons, or installation materials are ordered. Your appointment is considered tentative until the deposit is received. Once paid, your date is locked in. This system protects both of us: you know your spot is reserved, and I know the project is moving forward with serious intent.

Power & Inverters

Inverters, dual battery systems, alternator upgrades, and high-idle control — built to handle the load safely.

Important Vehicle Compatibility Warning

Inverters draw massive current from your vehicle's electrical system — far more than most people realize. A 3000W inverter at full load pulls over 250 amps. Most factory alternators produce between 150–220 amps at peak, and only at operating RPM. At idle, output is significantly lower.

Do not attempt to power any plug-in accessory without the engine running unless the inverter is supported by an auxiliary battery bank — preferably lithium (LiFePO4). No engine running means no active charging.

What happens when an inverter is too large for the charging system:

  • The inverter pulls more current than the alternator can supply
  • The batteries attempt to make up the difference, draining rapidly
  • The alternator overheats and can fail — sometimes within minutes
  • Batteries can be permanently damaged from extreme discharge rates
  • In worst cases, wiring or fuses can be overwhelmed

Congratulations — your vehicle is now stranded where it sits, facing a repair bill that far outweighs what it would have cost to do the job correctly the first time. Don't be that guy. Or girl.

Minimum requirements for all inverter installations:

Vehicle Electrical SystemMax Inverter SizeAdditional Requirements
Single factory battery & alternatorBelow 1,000WNone
Single factory battery & alternator1,000WHigh-output alternator strongly recommended
Dual factory batteries (typical on diesel trucks)1,500W–2,000WHigh-idle control strongly recommended
Anything above 2,000WNot permitted on factory systemRequires dedicated auxiliary lithium (LiFePO4) battery system + DC-DC charger

Why lithium and a DC-DC charger?

Lead-acid and AGM batteries cannot safely sustain the deep, repeated discharge cycles that high-wattage inverters demand. Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are designed for this application. The DC-DC charger ensures the auxiliary lithium bank receives a precisely controlled charge profile from the vehicle's alternator without overloading it or damaging the factory electrical system.

If you're considering an inverter larger than what your vehicle's factory system can support, the auxiliary battery upgrade is mandatory — not optional. I will not install an inverter on a vehicle that cannot safely power it. This policy exists to protect your truck, your equipment, and your safety.

Our Guarantee

The Warranty. No Fine Print.

Three tiers of protection — because what we stand behind depends on what we sourced. Here's exactly how it works.

Company-Supplied Parts
1 Year

All equipment I source and supply is covered by a 1-year manufacturer warranty. This covers manufacturing defects and premature electronic failure under normal use. It does not cover damage from abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, physical damage, theft, or acts of nature.

If a covered part fails, I handle the replacement
If the failure was caused by my installation, labor to replace it is free
If the part itself failed, labor for the swap is billable at a reduced flat rate
Customer-Supplied Parts
No Part Warranty

I'm happy to install equipment you provide. However, I cannot warranty parts I didn't source. If a customer-supplied part fails, you're responsible for the replacement part and the labor to install it.

My workmanship on that install is still covered for life
If a failure occurs, I'll diagnose it and show you exactly what happened
If my work caused it, the repair is on me. If your part caused it, standard rates apply
Signature
Workmanship
Lifetime

I stand behind every connection, every crimp, and every inch of wire I run. If something I installed fails because of my workmanship, I'll fix it — for life. No fine print. No prorating. No questions asked. That's the warranty.

All connections heat-shrink sealed or weatherproof crimped
All circuits fused at the source
Final load test completed before we leave your property
Customer damage, misuse, or third-party modification is billable — we'll show you exactly what failed before any charges apply
